  1. Clouds are good reflectors of sunlight, only a small amount of sunlight being absorbed. When you are seeing the portion of the cloud which completely reflects the sun light,it will look white. When you are looking that part of the cloud through which the absobed sunlight passes through and reaches your eye, then it will look grey. The thicker the cloud, the darker the colour becomes.

The same cloud will look white if seen from above and grey if seen from below.

  2. Clouds are water vapor that has condensed in very tiny pieces of dust.  As more water vapor condenses on the dust particle, the more dense the cloud becomes.  The more dense, the less light passes through and the darker it appears...

  3. white clouds means high pressure and grey clouds means low pressure are in your area.

  4. cloudsare just gas and when there white there empty and when there grey there full which causes percipitation (rainfall)

  5. Clouds are white because thats mainly how the earths atmosphere makes it. It turns gray because of how the weather is going to be for ex: Its going to rain today so I guess Ill be seeing gray clouds.
