Clubs in France/Paris?

Question

Me and a few friends are off to France next year.

We're all legal to drink alcohol in France as we'll all be over 16!

But are there clubs that allow 16 year olds in?

Any good ones anyone knows? (bearing in mind we're not going for another year!)

And wheres the best place to head for clubs and bars in Paris?

Its not so much your age but your appearrance and behavior that will get you into clubs in Paris. A well dressed, well behaved, 16 year old will be admitted while a binge drinking, loud, obnoxious 25 year old yob will be turned away.

As has already been mentioned, the French do not drink for effect as much as Yanks and Brits do. Rowdy, drunken behavior is treated with the contempt it deserves. Which is not to say you can't have a good time and party hard.

You'll find that the 5th arrondissment has a lot of places that are popular with younger people and where you have a good chance of fitting in.

Being old enough to go into clubs in Paris next year will show you the best nightlife Paris has to offer - you'll have a blast.

Bear in mind thought that most French people don't drink to get drunk -- they drink a lot less than Americans, Canadians, English, Australian and other nationalities in clubs and restaurants.
