Clue DVD Game Doesn't Work?

So, a couple of months ago, someone bought me the CLUE DVD edition - fancy, right? So, anyway, I recently tried playing, and I put the DVD in, and it doesn't do anything! I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but it will go to this screen where I'm in this castle thing or something, and I'm going through a maze kind of. Then, I can't do anything. It's not like it freezes, there just aren't any options or doors or anything to go through. (It almost reminds me of how you would move through the levels in DOOM!) Is something wrong with the DVD or am I doing something wrong? Anyone else have this problem? Should I contact the maker or the game? Thanks! :)

Sounds like a defective disc. Take it back to the store.

I know from previous experience that some DVD boardgames don't work with "certain" DVD players!!!

Perhaps that's your problem... try playing the DVD on a different DVD player (different brand of DVD player)...
