Anyone have any experience with these irons.....good or bad, I want your thoughts.

The Nippon steel shafts have a torque spec. which I haven't seen on a steel shaft before. Don't know what to think of that.

  1. Don't buy cobra irons. They add length to the shaft to make the ball go farther. but they lose control. Try any of the other major brands for irons, TM, Callaway, mizuno, and Wilson have the best irons out. The FP irons are for those who want to bomb the ball wherever.  Not always good in golf

  2. Cobra makes a good club.  Some people like them and some people don't.  I personally don't like Titlest clubs, but that doesn't mean that they don't make a good product.  Any shaft lengths Cobra or any other manufacturer may use is designed to compliment their clubhead design

I have tried the FP irons, but I still prefer my older 3400 series.  I can't honestly explain why, but I just like the feel and response from the 3400's compared to the FP series.

Your best bet is to go somewhere and demo the clubs.  Don't limit your demo to just the Cobra irons though.  Hit different brands and compare them.  After you find the irons you like, have them fitted to you!!! A club adjusted for you professionally will always play better than a club that is not.  Remember you should always play what works and feels best to you, despite what name is on the club.
