Cockatiel question???????????

Well i have a question about my cockatiel. I would lyke to kno if i can still build a relationship with my cockatiel. Well i had 4 keets and 1 parakeet. I gave two keets away but still have 1 but plan to give it away to, and i would lyke to kno that if i onli have the tiel if this will help me build a better relationship wit it.

Now that im out of skool i have time to spend wit it so i would lyke to kno if there is a possability of bulding relationship wit it still. Its about 1 and a half years old and it does try to bite me sometyme. i used to let out of its cage b4 but i stopped bcause it was very hard work to put it back in the cage but i was thinking of clipping its wings so maybe that can helpl so we can build a betta relationship. It does eat out of my hand nd when its hugry it sumtymes flies on my shoulder. But basically what i want to kno is if its still possible to build a relationship wit it sorry for making it so long.

Don't think it is ever to late to build a relationship with a Cockatiel.  They love people and love to be around them all the time.  I believe it will be much better for the relationship once it is the only bird in the house.  Just talk to it a lot and whistle.  They catch on to whistles really quick.  The more attention you pay to it and the more you get it out of the cage the closer the bird will get with you.

They just love fruits and veges.  They also like Cheerios a lot and know what you are talking about when you ask if they want something they like. :-)

Have a ball you have a great friend there and will have a ball together but it does take a little time.
