Codex Alimentarius???

Question

Does anyone know what the most recent progress is concerning Codex in the US and abroad?

I'd like an informed individuals take on it.

I can't speak for abroad... but I know in Canada we have a bill going through the House of Commons (Bill C-51) that is going to do Codex's dirty work in our country. I have heard (although I cannot officially confirm) that we also have Bill C-52 which has been drafted and to go through the house after the first bill goes through which is supposed to take C-51 even further.
