Coin carolus III 1785?

Question

I have a coin that appears to be silver. On the front it says"Carolus IIII.dei.gratia 1785.

I would like a little background information on the coin and possibly the value of it? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Carlos III ruled Spain from 1759-1788. there are coins of Spain and also coins of Spanish colonial America. Coins were minted in Mexico and well and South America. You do not give enough info to find out just what coin you have. I need to know the legends on the coins both front and back as well as what is on the back, Carlos (Charles in English) III should have his bust on the front (obverse). I can not help any further and no one else can either. If you wish to send me good quality scans or photo's that is fine also. You can email me here and I will give you my email address to send photo's. In any event I need to know what it says exactly on both sides even if it makes no sense to you. Most legends are abbreviated anyway.
