my father passed away in march of this year from cancer, he wanted to be cremated so we did as he wanted and he is now in my mothers room-in an urn of course. odd things have been happening recently and i'm not sure if it's my imagination or dad telling us he's still here. anyway, we have a timer (for cooking that we never use) on top of our microwave and it's never been set, well yesterday it went off two times. right after each other. we turned it off and it rang again. my one year old son laughs and points at nothing. while taking a shower this evening, one of my sons toys made noises for no reason. it was on the other side of the bathroom while i'm taking a shower. a soda can on the family room table starts turning--verrrryyyy slooowwllyy. am i going nuts???

in december of 2007 my stepsister died due to an enlarged heart, in february of 2008 my cousin died of heart failure, in march of 2008 my father died due to cancer, this month my aunt died on the operating table. NO JOKE!!!!!

  1. One thing ..with the timer on the stove....sometimes when I turn it off..it clicks over past off and then goes off the next hour..or how ever long it is from the top. Or....maybe you turned it the wrong direction to turn it off.  The other things...I don't know if they're paranormal or not. So sorry for your losses. You've had so many people die in your family..I don't see how you could tell which one it is. Ask them to identify theirself some way. I really doubt your dad would go into the bathroom with you. That doesn't sound like a thing a dad would do.Don't blame everything on him.

  2. Oh come on, do you think it matters to spirits whether they watch you in the shower or not? What about psychics or Remote Viewers? There are no secrets.

My money says it was your aunt. -more recent, sudden and unexpected

  3. Well maybe just say something like "dad or anyone else I love, I'm glad you are here and hope you stay as much and as long as you want to, but please, just stay out of the bathroom." ; )

That's always been my thing...if anyone invisible "lives" with us, I don't mind as long as they keep to themselves and please stay out of my room, and the bathroom when I'm in it.

That stuff doesn't sound like anything to be afraid of, what it is isn't scary. Sounds more amazing than anything.

  4. Don't leave; observe and report! Close family members are ideal for contacts. Enjoy!

  5. You should not move. If it is dear old dad he would just follow you. Nothing you have said causes me to believe you or anyone is in danger. If it is dad he is just checking up on you making sure you are okay.

Just talk to him and ask him not to go in the bathroom, which he would not anyway. His ghost will not do anything he would not do when he was alive ghosts are just people without bodies.

  6. I'm not sure how recently these odd things have happened to you. I don't think you are going nuts at all. I would say that it could be any of your lost loved ones, maybe more than one, but it depends on how recently this stuff started happening (did any of this stuff happen before your dad passed away?). Don't worry about ghosts seeing you in "embarassing" situations, like naked/on the toilet, etc., because they don't care about things like that as we do. I also wouldn't be afraid. I know it's weird and creepy sometimes, but it can be comforting. don't be afraid of being hurt because they really sound like harmless spirits and given the many losses you have had, it's reasonable to assume that this is a loved one. another thing - although there can sometimes be other explanations (non"paranormal") for things, that doesn't matter. sometimes, spirits are here with us in these "normal" explanations - they use these things. to me, it sounds like you know it and you need to listen to what you know. it doesn't matter how you know it, but you know it for a reason - just get in touch with that.

By the way, on one occasion, I had a feeling but no sign that there was a presence in my house all day. at the end of the night, I heard a toy playing music in my house. (A toy that belonged to my now passed great grandmother 26 years ago, that my grandmother gave to me about 20 years ago). I said "great grandma, is that you?" and the song started again. That's how i knew it was her. she was trying to communicate with me and let me know that it was her. Your visiting spirit(s) are probably doing the same with you.

  7. you should stay.... but if it freaks you out to much then move

  8. get in touch with "ghost hunters" scfi channel....also "report a ghost" http://ghostinvestigator.tripod.com/gisf...

  9. You should embrace this opportunity. Make notes about experiences...like a log of things happening.

  10. Say Hi Dad

    See what happens

  11. mayby your'e family sense youre enhappyness and are trying to tell you not to worry...

  12. When a house has as much activity as you have described, it is advisable to make many pictures and video recordings of the phenomenon.  I would further advise you to sit some recorders around as well.

There is no way ro tell for sure from your description if it is your Dad or any relative.  It would not have to be anyone you would know. The things that are happening may have been happening prior to all the death and tragedy associated with your family(many different or very subtle)and you may not have noticed.

Are you and your Mom on the same page with the happenings?  Perhaps you should have the conversation and have a team dome in to assist and gather evidence for you.  If you feel that it is your father or other loved one, they may be able to provide you with proof one way or the other.

    Best of luck to you.

  13. Well, I think that you should move, but where would you go if you moved? I have read a story, its a case like yours. And in the end, the person said, there is no one else left to die but me. If you think there is something paranormal and its not you alone, you can consider moving.

  14. I wish the ghost of Marilyn Monroe was in my house giving me we dreams.

  15. If you related stuff like this to your Dad when he was alive. What do you think he would say? See what I mean?

  16. I've seen and heard a lot of weird things over the years.

Just lately it was about 3am and I distinctly heard 2 girls talking, but I was all alone in the house, then about an hour later, I heard music coming from up stairs, but when I got up to check there was no radio or nothing on.

So it's possible that it's your dad or anyone else that passed on.

  17. there's no reason to move, you're very lucky that your father is staying close to you and your family. be open to it all and enjoy it while you have it. most times the connection is fleeting, and you most likely will miss it once he isn't there. don't be scared if nothing violent hasn't happened yet. if you're that concerned, though, perhaps ask your family clergy to come and bless the house.

  18. Place a tape recorder out and ask the spirit to tell you who it is.. It might be your family keeping an eye on you.. Try to get an EVP.. That is the easy and safe way to try to get your answers..

    GOOD LUCK!!

Or ask for them to do something only your family members would do but DO NOT pick one thing out in your mind and think about it.. Sometimes they can read your thoughts..So keep your mind blank doing ALL this!!

Ask something ONLY you 3 would know!!With a blank mind..

  19. This is confirmation bias.  If you're like a normal person, strange things have always happened in your life.  Now that your father has passed away (my condolences), you attribute the strange things to his spirit.  I know it would be nice to maintain contact with our deceased friends and relatives, but there is nothing out there beyond wishful thinking, to suggest this occurs or is possible.  Besides, if spirits could contact us, why would they do so with electronics?  Why not pick up a piece of chalk and start writing?

  20. How on earth do you draw the conclusion that something paranormal is happening based on your microwave alarm going off and a toy making a noise?

And babies laughing at nothing is quite normal.

I think you are letting your imagination run riot, settle down and try and view these small incidences logically.
