Cold case murder united kingdom?

I'm wondering (even tho unsucessfully at present) how to go about researching an UNSOLVED murder that took place a long time ago. It was on Kew Bridge in 1954. The person killed was male. I have the details as they came down to me throughout my childhood and teenage years. I'd really like to see how accurate those details are BUT because it's still recorded as 'unsolved' I'm not sure where to start. Anyone got any information on this murder? perhaps you too, were told of it like me, how it occurred etc. I'd be really grateful as i's like to know. Thank you for taking the time to read my question.

  1. I would try your local public library, they may have information in their archives, or may be able to point you in the right direction to get the information you require.

The local newspaper may also have some information on microfiche in their archives.

  2. try the net. Ask elderly people in ur neighbourhood what they feel about it.
