Collage classes...HELP

i am in high school.....i am going to the 11th grade. my grades are pretty good and i am in the NHS.....i am going to start duel enrollment next year and i am going to start working towards my associates degree......i would like to know if it is possible to also take classes on-line to help get my degree faster while i am in high school. is it possible that i do both and if so how would i do it.

  1. why associates, if you have good grades, why don't you just go to a 4 year college.

    BTW, collage is not college.


  2. Do you mean taking online classes that the dual enrollment college offers or taking a different college's online classes? You might be able to do the first option since you are enrolled at the college because of d.e. but probably not the latter since you haven't graduated high school.

    However, some dual enrollment programs don't allow for the high schoolers to take their online courses, so you'd have to look into it.

    If you want to get your degree faster, do dual enrollment full time at 16 credits/ semester and complete the requirements for your AA by the time you graduate high school. Then you'd be able to transfer to a 4 year university and only have 2 years left to get your BA.
