will going to college efect my relationship ... i'm only going for a year ... if so how can i prevent change in out relationship

Yes, it will affect your relationship. That doesn't mean it has to ruin your relationship.

When you go, you'll meet new people with new ideals and perspectives. It will change you, but that doesn't mean your partner has to be excluded.

Lots of relationships last throughout college or university. You have to work at any relationship, and the same can be said about college.
