I'm submitting my essay, and the requirement is like this :

If you are submitting your essay online, it must be no longer than 120 eighty-character lines of text (including spaces and blank lines).

What does it mean by 120 eighty - character lines ?

it means that your essay needs to be no longer then 120 lines, each line only containing 80 characters, meaning spaces/letters. so it should have no more then a total of 9600 characters, contained within 120 lines.
