richo-definately not, the tigers were never the gorilla's that was fitzroy, then the maroons, then the lions, we have always been the tigers, we had striped jumpers originally, hence the tiger name, unlike just black and white=a bloody magpie,striped magpies yeah ok.

Don't start having a go at the Zebs, I had a lot of great memories as a youngster at Beach road oval(Trevor Barker oval) we played our school football games there as well, you obviously haven't seen the Sandy design of recent times, it may not be black and white (THANK THE LORD) but it is no longer stripes but more a swirl stripe from top to bottom.

Yeah, I guess early Collingwood supporters & officials must take credit for the stupidity that has been associated with that club since it was formed.

But, credit must be given to the clubs present day officials, coaches & supporters for perfecting & maintaining the stupidity to such a high level it has achieved today!

Look at Eddie! Look at Mick! look at Buckley! Look at the stupid posts made in this forum by their supporters!.......Need I supply further instances of stupidiity in its highest order?

Nearly all supporters claim their club is the best ... blah...blah ... blah ... but one thing they can't claim to better Collingwood at - is stupidity.

I think they chose the magpie over the zebra due to 'bird' factor - & we all know Collingwood players are a mob of girls (birds).

You gotta look into the history of the club before you start shooting off your mouth ya d ick head. They called them the Magpies because of the large flock of magpies that lived near Victoria Park - Collingwood's first home ground. The guernsey followed suit.

do a little research on the ladder positions of each club over the last 50 years. You may be surprised how highly Collingwood position themselves year after year. Premierships don't matter when defining a good team. Its consistency that counts. Getting in the finals almost every year is pretty consistent. Even if flags did count, Collingwood has 14 of the best anyway ya tool!

Yep - slow day indeed ...

Like just yesterday I saw a fight mid air between a blue and yellow eagle and a blue yellow and red crow, when all of a sudden a red and white swan flew in.  There was this blue and white striped kangaroo down on the ground but more interestingly there was a cat on the fence with exactly the opposite blue and white stripes across him.  He was only tiny compared to the red, yellow and blue Lion that was cruising around waiting for the blue, red and white bulldog to leave some leftovers from the carcass of a red and black bomber.  

Unfortunately there was a power failure, I tripped over and bruised myself black and .... aquamarine :-S.

It's just like the real world this football aint it.  I just love it!

I think the prize goes though to a team that calls themselves dockers ... and dresses in ... blue singlets?  ... h**l no ... Purple and Green!

Your Right Collingwood are perfect,black and white= MAGPIES.   Sandringham are stupid, probably why there name begins with S , blue black and yellow, nothing like a Zebra

i don't know but I'll say this it doesn't matter what you call them they are still a bunch of self over-raters who have only managed 1 flag in the past 50 years,black white,pink or purple stripes wont change the fact they have been an average football team for 50 odd YEARS!! hooray
