Colour on a palomino??

what colour headcollar and leadrope does everyone think would look good on a palomino?

I think a leather head collar in brown or Havana with a light blue lead rope would look really nice, or just a light blue head collar as well. Hope this helps!xx

I think earth tones compliment palominos. I had a palomino a few years back, and I think the best looking color was turquoise. Its amazing how it makes the gold color stand out! It is kinda important on what shade of palomino she is. My horse was a golden palomino with dapples. There is a lighter, almost white shade, and a dark gold, then a chocolate. For the lighter shades, a royal or navy blue, or purple would be nice. I wouldn't do red, because it has a tendency to flush out the red undertones of the horse....making her look "washed out". A brown, hunter or olive green, or black looks nice on all 3 shades.

Personally, I like blue.  Mine has blue accessories and looks gorgeous. Really brings out the colour in his coat.

if you have a mare... a rich purple or a lavender!

and if you have a gelding... a royal blue or light blue!

those would all look amazing!!

dunno why but i think a red rope halter would look good. but then i wouldnt know what colour lead to match that.

a bottle green also looks good with a grey and black lead ( like one of those nylon checkered sort of ones)

Almost any color will look good on Palomino except browns or beige.  I think that Green, Blue, or Purple would look best though.

Really bright, vivid pink!

Deep purple would look good too!
