Comcast Parental Controls?

Question

Thinking of getting comcast for the family.

BUT! does it matter? whichever package I get, will it come with the parental control, to block innappropriate channels?

oh, and which package do YOU reccommend and why?

Yes, Comcast allows you to block content not suitable for children. You can only view the content by entering a user selected password.

I have "Expanded Basic" and that is all. If we want to watch movies we rent a DVD from a Redbox in out local Walmart. 99 cents for 24 hours and we watch when we want. Another source is DVD express.

Call Comcast for package info lol

RE: Parental controls, all boxes have preset options that a customer can set with a pin number to block content. A tech can set it up for you at install or a Rep can guide you through it over the phone.
