Comments on Dell-Inspiron Laptop?

I'm buying a new laptop because mine broke after a bookshelf fell off my wall and landed on the screen. I'm going to use it for writing papers for school, taking notes, web browsing, and a little bit of iTunes. Does anyone have comments on this particular computer? It got good reviews on Bestbuy.com, but I trust you guys more than that. It's got an Intel® Pentium® Dual-Core mobile processor T2390; 2GB DDR2 memory; DL DVD±RW/CD-RW drive; 15.4" widescreen; 160GB hard drive; Windows Vista Home Premium with SP1.

It's $450 which is right around how much I want to spend. I know it wont be great for that price, but I just want one that doesn't have a big black crack through the screen. Thanks!

it is a good onne for price, if reviews are great, then get it

the specs sound good for the price, not the most powerful of laptops, but it does have a dual core processor and decent components, i'd say ideal for your needs
