Commerical Piloting ...?

well as soon as i get out of high school i plan on joing the Air force, and then after a couple of years in the AiR Force i will want to become my dream job of an commerical pilot.

Now what i want to know is what HIgh School courses are needed inorder to get there, what has to be done in High School for me to ensure that i get where i want to be in a few years from now.

You obviously haven't thought your plans through very well.  Noboby with just a high school diploma gets military flight training, you need a bachelor's degree.  And the idea of a couple of years is not even close.  Plan on ten years as a commissioned officer serving uncle sam if you expect to get flight training.

theres really not an required courses in high school..... because high school is GENERIC....... they just want you to have your diploma......... once you're in the Air Force you'll have to get your Bachelors degree to become an officer (which is the BASE rank that is eligible to fly)....... not to mention if you want to fly in the Air Force you have to be a required height, in peak physical condition, have no medical problems (not even flat feet)..... have no history of asthma, no history of being on any drugs for mental illnesses..........  You have to be able to withstand physical tests........

BUT, if you don't plan on flying within the Air Force then you don't have to worry about all those restrictions........  

It's VERY hard to become any sort of pilot in the Air Force...... you will have to work very hard........ and just so you know commercial pilots are not all glitz and glamour. I know exactly how their lives are and they aren't pretty. you could be sitting on the tarmac for HOURS waiting to take off, and then suddenly you run out of YOUR hours (you have a set amount you can work) so then they cancel the flight after you just sat there all day............

I know this because my dad has been an airline manager since before I was born...... I  know every little in and out of the airlines......... they don't get paid as well anymore either since all the airlines are in bankruptcy or heading towards it!
