i have a broken cd rom it opens and closes but it doesntread the cd and it doesnt show the cd

  1. Do you get an error message saying it can't read the CD, or is it dead? If it can't read the CD, I'd say get a cleaner with brushes for the laser eye & run it.


  2. Buy a new one!!
