  1. Just a tip before we get started: when entering a competitive battle, remember that moves like Thunder Wave and Rain Dance are just a waste of your time. By the time you have finished using them, they would have you down to half HP or lower.

    Empoleon-

    Surf

    Ice Beam

    Drill Peck

    Hydro Cannon

    Luxray-

    Thunder

    Thunderbolt

    Crunch

    Double-Edge

    Alakazam-

    Psychic

    Shadow Ball

    Energy Ball

    Hypnosis

    Breloom-

    Sky Uppercut

    Solarbeam

    Sunny Day

    Giga Drain

    Charizard-

    Flamethrower

    Aerial Ace

    Blast Burn

    Slash

Now all you need is a Dragon type to finish off your team. I will suggest Garchomp or Dragonite. E-mail me if you need the help of where to find these Pokemon.

    Garchomp-

    Dragon Pulse

    Flamethrower

    Thunderbolt

    Dragon Claw

    Dragonite-

    Dragon Pulse

    Thunder

    Blizzard/Ice Beam

    Fly

A good way to level up is to train at Victory Road or a more effective way is to leave them at the Day-Care Centre and ride up and down that very long strip on undisturbed path at Solaceon Town.

  2. certain pokemon that you kill will give your pokemon a bonus stat when it levels. for example a ghastly gives 1 ev point of special attack. 4 ev points give one stat up.  each pokemon has a limit of the number of evs it can have. as long as your pokemon are not lvl 100, there is an item you can buy that erases the ev's it has so you can ev train them how you want. the fallowing website has a list of at least 40 guides on different subjects from ev training to competitive battling.
