Computer Answering Machine Problem

I have a new Dell with XP. I tried the callwave answering machinewouldn't workthe phone company said my Dell was too powerful to allow an incoming call to trip the in coming call over to callwave. It was a waste of money at the phone co. because I didn't need call waiting other than for callwave...$7.95 wasted. Learned lesson!There is a system you can purchase called "catch a call"...like $49.95. I haven't had a chance to check it out with Dell or SW Bell yet. I don't want to pay a total of $40.00 a month for a separate phone line.QUESTION: Does anyone know if the "catch a call" product will work with my Windows XP? I don't want to spend more money if it doesn't work.TIA for any help you can give me!clinda62
