  1. the issue is caused by the installation of IE 7 in xp , for some unknown reason ( i say microsoft) the IE7 key does not overwrite the IE6.0 correctly on installation , the only way i have found to fix this issue  is to go into add and remove programs uninstall IE7 . reboot the pc and reinstall IE7.0

before you do that i would download http://www.ccleaner.com

let it cleanup the registry then reinstall IE7

  2. IF YOU ARE USING INTERNET EXPLORER MAYBE IS CORRUPTED YOU SHOULD TRY TO UNINSTALL AND INSTALL IT AGAIN OR IF IT DOESNT WORK DOWNLOAD FIREFOX

  3. http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowPos...

  4. Download FireFox 3.01 (the newest version), and use FireFox, instead of internet explorer...Or you can reinstall IE or install it's newest version (Internext Explorer 7.0)

  5. Dr. Bucks gave you the best answer; but please allow me to add....

MS clearly does not have all of the bugs out of IE7 yet.

So, in you REMOVE IE7, it will roll back to IE6.

    Stay right there.

With updates IE6 is very good.  :)
