Computer numpty, advice please..?

When trying to upload a picture, (browse), cant find pictures, when I do, being told file is invalid?? been messing, any advice please;

You probably can't upload them because they are saved in the wrong format.  Some programmes/websites etc will only let you upload a pic in a specific recognised format (often  jpeg) so when you are browsing for the pics you want to upload, the browser window will only bring up compatible files.

Try going into 'My Computer', and accessing the files this way.  Right-click the mouse over your picture files, click 'rename', and make sure that you type .jpg after each file name so the computer recognises the file type.

Then try uploading them again and hopefully this should help.

Try to open my documents at the side, and then get to my pictures from there?? :s

Make sure that the file is the proper format for wherever it is you are trying to upload to. In other words, most websites only allow certain file extensions such as .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .bmp

If you are pulling these from a camera or some other place, just make sure that you convert the files in any normal photo manipulation program (even MS Paint) and save it as one of the above.
