Question:

Computer problem... driving me MAD!

On Windows XP, when you set your "mode" to Space, the computer makes a noise every time you:

- click Start

- open a program

- minimise/restore something

- etc.

This is driving me up the pole cos I don't know how to switch it off. Any help here...? First answer which gets rid of the bloody noise gets the 10 points. Thanks!

  2. I don't know what you mean when you say set your mode to space but to change or disable sounds in xp click start >>>control panel if it's set to catorgary view click sound speech, and audio devices click change the sound scheme click the sounds tab from here you can change or disable sounds such as beeps if you want too

if your control panel view is set to classic view just click the sounds and audio device icon for the same dialogue box
