on the taskbar where you have like internet explorer page n word if you have them open or not how do you make them invisable- the little rectangle blue boxes if you didnt get that.

You can't make them invisible, but you can have several instances of, say, Word use the same "blue rectangle" to save space. Here's how:

1. Right-click on the Taskbar (not on a button, on the 'bar itself).

2. Select Properties.

3. Check the checkbox for Group similar taskbar buttons.

4. Click OK.

Note that there's no way to force Windows to group any specific set of "similar" buttons.  It makes that decision on its own.
