Computer to home theatre?

Does anybody download DVD’s from the internet? If so what program do you use to burn them to DVD’s so they play in your home theater set up? My self I use Nero and I get okay results.

Nero is a nice inexpensive solution. I spent quite a bit more moola and bought Pinnacle Studio Ultimate 11. It works quite well!

I use it for home movies but it will work for downloads too. In fact, I only make discs for giving copies of home movies to relatives and such.

I have my DVDs ripped onto my computer's auxilary 750 gig hard drive and I stream them around the house to my various TVs using Windows Vista Media Center. It's so much easier than trying to keep up with the disks, and my originals sit safely in their packages, in the closet.
