how do you figure out what kind of video card your computer has?

  1. Go to device manager in control panel and look under display adapters.


  2. Google for a free program called "gpu-z." It will not only identify your card, but give you more information about it than you probably want to know.

  3. Follow the order:

    Start - Settings - Control Panel - System - Hardware - Device Manager - Display adapters.

    Your graphics card will be named in the drop-down list under "display adapters".

  4. go to my computer .. then , view system info. after that , device manager finaly display adapters , click that and u ll see the name of the video card ur pc has :)

  5. go to my computer

    click on view system information

    then click hardware

    then device manager

    then display adapters

    then it should say it there

    I got a bunch of new 1 gig graphics cards cheap. Worth the upgrade.
