Con Smythe Winner?

Question

WHEN the wings win the stanley cup in game 5, me and my dad were debating who is gonna win the conn smythe trophy. i said osgood, because he has had 2 shutouts and been a huge part of the entire playoff run. he said zetterberg due to his amazing play. some other people mentioned lidstrom or kronwall, but who is your conn smythe winner?

its such a toss up right now. i can see lidstrom, Zetterberg or Osgood. its prolly going to come down to who has big games Monday night.

Osgood or Zetterberg?  I say Osgood.  Zetterberg has been fantastic, as well as Lidstrom, Datsyuk, Fiddler and Holmstrom, but if Ozzy didn't come in when he did would the Wings be in the Finals.

i agree with you, osgood is a good canadiate, he's played well every since he came in during game 4 against nashville. but it could be someone else too. but i would have to pick osgood as the con smythe winner.

Z is the front runner and Osgood is 2nd, however with a stellar performance in game 5, Ozzie may over-take Z for trophy! I think we can start to eliminate the likes of Pavs and Lidstrom and Franzen.

I'd say Osgood because of his shutouts and insanely low GAA. However, of the forwards I think Datsyuk is the most likely because he has really stepped up his all around game these playoffs, both scoring and starting to play more physical. He leads the team in hits, which is amazing considering he is such a finese player. And while I don't think they will give him the Conn Smythe again, Lidstrom is the best and most important player on the ice game in and game out.

Zetterberg, theres no one else. Franzen is out, missed a entire series, osgood missed the first 4 games.
