Concerned about my child walking?

My son is 13mos old and just starting the walking process, but I'm concerned because it seems his feet turn OUTward really bad and he's having trouble learning to balance. Anyone know what this is or what I could/should do about it?

oh theres really not much to do! i have a 2 year old and he is bowlegged but the dr said this goes away by the time he is five. so yeh it doesn't look very nice but he will learn to balance on his own and bare feet are best rather than shoes! i have sister in law that was bowlegged when she was a baby but shes 20 now and looks perfectly normal !
