Question:

Concerning tampons...?

by  |  earlier

I've tried to use a tampon two or three times now, but I just can't seem to do it. I read all the instructions, relaxed completely, and tried putting it in, but it just didn't feel comfortable. Help please? And please don't tell me exactly what the instructions tell me, I've already read them. Thanks :)

  1. u just have to forget that its there and in tine ull get used to it

  2. well if it doesn't work out try ultra thin pads trust me you can't even feel or see them through your pants or skirt...

  3. You mean you just stuck the applicator in and not plunged it? It's not going to feel exactly comfortable until you plunge it.

If you actually inserted it, maybe you're not inserting it in enough

  4. I had the same problem...the instructions DON'T work.

Try 'pushing' down while you are inserting the tampon, like when you are trying to go to the bathroom (#2).

Try KY jelly. It worked for me.

You will get used to it. Eventually..

  5. It takes time to get used to and you gotta insert it all the way in.

  6. Maybe your flow isn't heavy enough..?

Keep trying when you've got a heavy period

    (:

  7. take a shower before you do try to insert it,,,,the shower will make you more relaxed

  8. alright maybe try a smaller size at first---now when I first started using tampons i put one foot on the toilet and the other on the floor. Try it at that angle and push it in--it might need to be further back--

maybe you just can't use them--my aunt never could get them to feel comfortable.
