If you keep a condom in your wallet, will it go bad? If you keep your wallet in your car's door panel, and never put it in your pocket?

  1. Do NOT leave your condom in your wallets. Latex is largely comprised of rubber, which melts very easily in relatively low levels of heat. When this gets heated, tiny holes can form in the condom walls, even though you might not be able to see them with the naked eye. This leaves the potential for sperm to find its way through these holes.  Your pocket is really too warm for a condom to remain fully intact.

  2. Just make sure they arent expired when u want to use them.

  3. Never leave condoms in the car, the heat build up in the car (especialy in the summer) will distroy the latex. So yes keeping it in your wallet in your car is not a good idea. Just keeping it in your wallet in your pocket is fine. I would keep your wallet in your pocket from now on. You always want a condom ready to use with you, not just in your car.

  4. I've heard two things - one, it won't go bad. Two, the heat will cause the condom to become more fragile and will break more easily. I don't know which one is right, but if I were you I wouldn't risk it. When it comes to something like this, you always want to make sure you're as safe as possible.

  5. it will not go bad

  6. best way is to put 1 in your wallet when you go out they will go bad if ou leave them in your wallet especially in the car

  7. Common sense says that they will age after a while and weaken.  Also the friction in the wallet will wear on them and they will weaken and possibly get holes in them.  Oops!  Where did that baby come from???

  8. Never leave one in your wallet. Not cause it will go bad, but because if you leave it in there too long, they tend to rupture on there own from being sat on so much and cleaning lube off everything in your wallet is not fun. And also, they do have expiary dates, so make sure it's good before you use it or you could wind up getting someone pregnant.

  9. i've heard that the heat from it being in your wallet CAN make it more fragile

  10. shouldnt

  11. not the best place to keep a condom.

just think how cold your car gets in the winter and how hot it gets in the summer.  those temperature extremes aren't good for latex.  I wouldn't trust it.  Keeping a condom in a wallet is NEVER a good idea whether your wallet is in your pocket or in the car.  If you need one, most gas stations sell them, and I'm not talking about the machine in the men's room, either.  Most of them have regular Trojan and Durex condoms to buy.
