My boyfriend and I have only been together for about a week or two, and things have been going great until today. Well, the thing is his ex girlfriend still calls him. I knew that before I decided to jump into a relationship with him. However, I didn't know how obsessed she was with him. While I was with him today, she called like 8 times, and left a text stating that she missed him. She calls him with a restricted number, and he doesn't know her number. He says that he ignores her calls all of the time. Keep in mind that this girl has lied about everything, you name it, she lied about it. Anyways, he let it slip out that he met her earlier this month because he had to get away from family, and that she still thinks they're together. And, I'm like Why don't you just tell her the truth? And he's like I don't want to be mean. So, he said he's going to ignore her until she gets the point. But ... I'm scared she won't, ever. I don't know what to do. I don't want to fight with him. But .... What do you suggest?

P.S. I know that he won't cheat. So, that's out of the waters.

  1. if you know he won't cheat then there is nothing to worry about. but he should tell the ex the truth, its not fair on you or her, don't you think she deserves to know, encourage him to tell the truth , just imagine how you would feel if you were her. but enjoy your relationship.

  2. Just trust him.

If you know he won't cheat, then there's nothing to worry about.

She can't force him to cheat on you or anything! ;]

dont worry! just enjoy your new relationship and try to be more carefree and open-minded!

your boyfriend is only trying to keep everyone happy! =]

  3. I would recommend getting to know someone and their position with ex's before you date them. Surprises such as this are always a pisser.

He sounds like a nice guy and he enjoys the attention -- who wouldn't? However, he needs to move away from his Ex and tell her that she needs to tone it down a bit. He is with you and you're with him -- it's an equation which cannot be divided by her.

Sit him down and mention it. Tell him that it makes you very uncomfortable when she calls him so much and that you want him to try and distant himself from her more.

Do what you -Feel- is rite, not what you think might kinda sorta be rite. Your feelings are the most important thing in a relationship.

  4. Did she say she was the first president of the US of A! Or was she Alexandra the Great. Was she a Greek God. Is she super woman.

    --------EDIT--------

Just trust your boyfriend. Trust if essential in a relationship.

  5. Your boy sounds like he cared about her and doesn't want to hurt her feelings. A good trait. Let him keep ignoring her. If she doesn't get the point for a month or so ask him to tell her. If he does it via text or phonecall whatever.

Until then, let him keep ignoring him. She should get the point at some point.

  6. Just ignore her completely.  She is just doing this out of jealousy.  When he tells his ex to stay away, that's something he has to do.  It is not your place to get in the middle of problems between the two of them.  It will just get more dramatic if another person gets involved.  Focus on your man and nothing else, because he is not with her anymore.  She is OUT OF THE PICTURE.

  7. Next time she call when your with him grab the phone and answer it. Tell her that she needs to stop calling your boyfriend and to grow, have your boyfriend back you up on this and have him tell her so, and if he doesn't than that's an even bigger problem.

  8. your being played by a player dont be fooled one week to long you need to leave him
