Connecting DVD player?

I got a DVD player from someone and I have no clue how to connect it. Step by step instructions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  2. I sort of need to know about your TV.

    A "normal" setup would be to connect a triple RCA cable from the output of the DVD player to the input of the TV. Yellow is for video; red for the right audio channel; white for the left audio channel.

    If your TV doesn't have standard analog inputs like this, then you're going to need a different solution.

    Go to Radio Shack and ask someone for help.
