If i connect four speaker to a 2 channel amp, will this work?

How i am going to do it is both left speakers to one channel and both right speakers to the other channel. The amp is rated to work best at 2 ohms per channel, so if i have 4 ohm speakers and plug two into one channel, that will make the seen impeadance to be 2 ohms, and then split the power equally between the two speakers on one channel? and same on the other channel.....right?

  1. the speakers has to be the same per side,as you say, two left, not good , the front is 6 1/2 and the back 6 + 9 ,no ,the back to the right and the front small speakers to the left side.it's front and rear ,not side to side

  2. You've got it!  You can either run a single (pair) wire from the left channel to each left speaker (and so on for the right), or you can run one wire to one left speaker and another from that left speaker to the other.  Same resulting circuit (parallel) but sometimes physically simpler.
