  1. The goal in game two wouldn't have been by Crosby at all. If you watch the replay, Crosby never even touches that puck. Regardless, it was definitely completely across the line, but since the on ice ruling was no goal, it couldn't be overturned. Since Biron's glove obscured the view of the puck, the evidence was supposedly inconclusive. Still, no hockey puck is 2 feet in diameter, and it would have needed to be at least that big to not have completely crossed the line.

  2. Well the "goal" by Crosby in Game Two or as he refers to it as "The Magic Puck Theory" is just the tip of the ice burgh. If you noticed Birons glove on the replays you can see it went "Back, and to the left-Back,and to the left" so its definitely a conspiracy.

  3. Check the grassy knoll...the answer lies there.

  4. Bad calls don't mean there is a conspiracy.  All the time in the NFL replay officials still make the wrong call and overturn correct calls.  It shouldn't happen, but it does.  There's little difference between refs missing calls in hockey and any other sport.

  5. I don't think there's any type of conspiracy. there's not enough Money in the league for them to me fixing games, at least i don't think. And yeah there has been poor officiating in the past few games, but i don't think that anyone is "In on it".

  6. I'm from Philly, Arlen Spector is an alum of my fraternity and you would think I am all for the guy right? But I'm not. I can't stand this guy. All he is doing is trying to get that extra vote when he decides to run for office again. Politicians need to keep their hands out of sports. There's no need for it. Spend our tax money elsewhere like lowering the gas tax or something like that. But I do agree there is something going on in the NHL. I won't call it a "conspiracy" but there definitely is a league-wide hatred for the Flyers and there has been for the past 30 years. I'm not saying that is why we are down in the series 3-1, we've played like S**t. But I do recognize a hatred by not just the fans elsewhere (which is natural), but by the league and it's officials. There have been a ton of phantom calls in the playoffs but the Flyers have played through. But Arlen needs to get his head out of his ***.

  7. so i'm not going to pretend to understand american politics and why their politicians feel such an urgent need to get involved in the athletics, but i guess more power to them.

i complain just as much as the next person, but i'm not a fan of robot referees. people need to let things go, because you can't help but feel stupid when you're still complaining about something that happened in the past, that you can't control, and something that has been over for hours already.
