  1. Its not going to hurt to wear them.

You try not to do it to often though. I wear contacts and i usually forget to take them off.

The only thing is when yuo wake up the enxt day it will be really irratating because they are dry so you should immediatly apply eye drops or take them out to let them soak in the liquid.

I normally dont take mine out all week but just apply eye drops hourly and you'll be good to go.

  2. its not good i've been wearing contacts for 10 years. they dry out some times and get stuck one your eye ball. or get lost under your lids. but it can also make you vision worse

  3. yes, nothing will happen!

I haven't taken mine out in months....

You just wake up with dry eyes - so just pour some contact solution in your eyes in the morning or rub your eyes around.

  4. Depends on if they are hard of soft lenses, I have soft and I sometimes leave them in overnight, but just remember to get some eyedrops for the morning because your eyes will dry quickly if you sleep in lenses.

  5. no you can lose them or leaving themin too long can be bad for your eyes. leave them in a container with solution so they'll be clean and safe

  6. No, not at all. cos the eye will be very damage.

  7. It is really only safe to do this if the contacts you are wearing are "extended wear" and designed to be worn non-stop for days at a time.  Whilst you might do this with no ill effect whatsoever, it is far more likely that you will wake up the next morning with very sore, red, swollen eyes and fuzzy/impaired vision.

Man .... you must be planning on being super busy on the morning in question - it takes me all of 5 seconds per eye to put my contacts in every morning (ie. a whole 10 seconds in total).  Surely you can spare 10 seconds?

  8. yeah its fine just dont make it a habit...

  9. I've heard say that it's not safe because you can either lose one or have it rub your cornea wrong and also if you get a fever they stick to your eyeball.  But here's an interesting article all for it..with some contact lenses:

  10. If they are extended wear lenses it's OK for once in a while. It's just not good to do it all the time, but make sure the lenses are safe to do that with. You will also need to immediately put lubricating drops when you wake..they will be super dry, kinda sticky feeling.

  11. Your vision could be blurry the next day, if you put on your regular soft lenses overnight. Even in case of disposables, its not advisable.

  12. It'll increase the protein build up on them. If they're 2 week disposables, wearing them overnight will cause you to need to replace them after about a week (assuming you wear them overnight every night). It wears them out faster. If you forget and fall asleep with them in once or twice, don't sweat it.

    Generally, it is not suggested.

  13. you shouldn't wear them at night..they make the lenses not last very long and plus it could irritate your eye. you should always clean your lenses to get the dirt off of them anyways.

and putting contact lenses shouldn't take long unless you just got them. it takes like 15 seconds for me..

  14. You will want to take the time to put them in.

I can just tell you what happens to me when I sleep in mine, which has happened a couple of times.

When I wake up, everything seems okay the first few seconds, then everything gets blurry, the contacts are hard and dry--so they have to be taken out to recondition anyways!

Since they are dry, it hurts like a "bi&&h to take out!

Sleeping in your contacts should be advoided at all cost, like I said, you don't save anytime since they will need taken out and put back in anyways and you will save your eyes some unneeded pain.
