If my base curve is 8.3 but I want to get freshlook contacts that have a base curve of 8.6, would I be able to get them, or will they make my vision worse?

  1. No, ur bc is far too much different.

  2. Legally, you would not be able to get them without a new rx written from your doctor. Base curves are imporatant in fit. Fitting right is very important for eye health. It would not make your RX worse, but it might hurt your eye over time and make it have an injury that could keep you from wearing contacts in the future. I always tell people not to mess around with their RX and let their doctor do all of that for them. It is just not worth it.
