Ok well i have to write some stuff about contemporary problems that are being addressed through some sort of science, technology, engineering or mathematics.

I'm not asking you to do my homework just explain what "contemporary problems" means. Also maybe some creative examples?

Thanks a bunch

  1. Contemporary problems are current problems. If you are writing about something here and now then it's problems around you, if you are writing about 2000 BC then it's the problems they had then. Much science today is trying to explain what's happening globally because of global warming in an attempt to find good solutions. You have mathematics there too when they calculate the probabilities. Engineers are building higher and higher buildings since the cities is running our of space to build on and the technology they use to do it is ground breaking in many cases. The Taipei 101 and the "ball" that keeps it from swaying is one example.
