Continent War - Europe and America?

It may not happen for many decades, but >if< it did, whom would most likely be the victor and how come?

hm if we have roughly the same levels of military power, tech differences, and diplomatic positions as these days, then I would have to say the US. US is one continental country, with Oceans to cross to get there. It should be considered impossible to invade as long as Canada and Mexico remain neutral or allied to the US. Even then, an invasion would entail intolerable loss of life to Europe in general because of the resistance the civilian resistance they would encounter. You honestly cannot oppress a continent the size of the US or Europe without resorting to horrrifying tactics. Europe is a landmass of many nations with differing interests. It could be possible to use a strategy of divide and conquer.

I will have to say the US has the advantage, but it would be impossible to truly take over Europe.

you have to define &quot;Europe&quot; and &quot;America&quot;. do you mean a war between the EU and the US? Or a war between every country on the European continent and every country in North America?

The first would be a pretty even war, but would probably go in the USA&#039;s favour. The second would be much closer and could result in a European victory, maybe.

europe will win. more economical power, more men power. also russia and china will back them up for sure. Besides, america cant even win iraq war

I would say America would beat Europe we have such good and so many fighter jets tanks a huge military with weapon systems we have a huge infantry with powerful guns america is bigger than all of europe i think we would beat them.
