Contraception?????!?

im 18 and tried going on the pill but it made me ill and I don't like the idea of the hormones going into my body as I already have hormonal problems. What other methods of contraception would the doctor suggest?

Well if you want to know what a doctor would suggest just ask him, no one here is psychic.  

But there are always barrier methods like condoms and diaphragms.  And different BC pills have different levels of hormones, so you might want to try one with a really low dosage like Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo.

theres an injection but i wouldnt reccomend this to any1. theres condoms which you should use any way.

implant in the arm last for 3 years and you ca fall straight away after its removed and you can have this removed when ever.

the coil which is another kind of implant but i have heard it can fall out.

If you want a non-hormonal method of birth control, consider a diaphragm with spermicide or good old fashioned condoms. You are too young to use an IUD (these are mainly for women who are done birthing children) and everything else is hormonal.
