Question:

Cookies for Children?

I'm a granny and I would love to make cookies for the little children in my neighborhood. They call me granny and my house always smells like cookies. I'm not too great at math, so can anyone tell me how many cookies I should make if there are 49 children and I want each of them to have....well what do you think? How many should each family have and how many dozens would I make?

  1. are you asking me a math question, because your picture looks younger than you and you can get grey hair in avatars.

  2. You must know how many cookies your favourite recipe yields, I know I do with mine... but I don't do maths with recipes either; so I just mix up a batch - and whilst they are baking - mix up another batch.

OR - you might like to chat to their moms and work out a rota whereby you can invite the kids in to try out your recipe and bake their own...?

My granddaughter loves to bake cookies and she takes them to the neighbours - who love her baking cookies too!

  3. 15 DOZEN SHOULD BE ENOUGH.U R 1 SWEET PERSON TO DO THAT.WHEN U FINISHED MAKING THEM CAN I HAVE 1!? LOL

  4. All righty. Let's see here.

Roughly fifty kids, say each kid gets three cookies, that's 150 cookies, that's about thirteen dozen cookies.

  5. u sound like such a nice person.  I would give each family 10 so i would make 41 dozen.  Have fun! :)

  6. I'd give each family 6 cookies (1/2 dozen)... so that'd be 25 dozen, with some leftover for YOU to eat!

  7. dont have a clue, but you sound like a real nice lady.

    happy days!! x
