  1. at 15 month finger food carrots  fish fingers  things like that

  2. My baby that is her age loves grilled chicken and steamed veggies with spray butter on them. He always eats a lot when that is cooked. I think the colors of the veggies attract him to them. Good luck, enjoy your visit with your grandbaby

  3. Fruit salad lighting coated with orange juice

  4. I would think fingerfoods. Try...Chicken nuggets or fish fingers with veggies, raviolli and tomato sauce, carrot sticks and apple fingers with natural yoghurt as a snack, homemade mini pizza's, mini sausages with chips or veggies. You could try any of these. Unless the child has any allergies or intolerances to certain foods, she could pretty much eat whatever you are eating. The main rules when cooking for small kids are:

    1. no salt

    2. no sugar

    3. no nuts

4.don't fry foods, bake them instead

    Hope this helps.

  5. At 15 months, they are loving foods that don't take alot of chewing (since not all 15 month old's have enough teeth for it) and are very tasty. My daughter liked mashed potatoes, softly cooked chicken (broiled or baked), peas, and specially mac and cheese! Shepherd's Pie is a very easy dish that kids LOVE and adults enjoy. (8 serv. of mashed potatoes, 1 lb hamburger meat, slice cheese, salt, pepper, and butter to taste in a 9 x 13 dish)  Just make sure to ground or chop any meat thoroughly so they can enjoy it. They key at this age is getting food small enough to actually be digested but "grown up" enough for them to enjoy.

  6. Just whatever you eat is good, for my son who is 18 months I do maybe some brown rice and add abit of bolegnaise sauce so mince crushed tomatoes and onion and add it to the brown rice (this is my sons fav).. usually I do whatever we have for dinner and pop it in the blender so steak and vegies and mash put ti in the blender, or chicken and rice with vegies.. It is a good idea to  do everymeal with vegies, except breakfast and 2 pieces of fruit a day so banana or pear or a little bit of apple..  You should check with your daughter (if you already havnt) about what she would like her to eat.. My mother inlaw has been feeding my son ice cream and chocolate and all sorts of rubbish so I have made it very clear what I do and dont want him to have.. Also water is the best drink, if you feel that you grand daughter might be constipated give her some fruit not fruit juice (these days it is hardley fruit juice at all, just sugar and preservatives)   Thats just my opinion good luck how exciting!
