  1. Jermaine Dye - No.

    Tim Wakefield - No.

Manny Rameriez - Yes, first ballot.

    Aubrey Huff - Nah.

    Adam Dunn - Too early.

    Jose Reyes - Too early.

Andy Pettitte - No, but the championships will make it close.

    Chipper Jones - Yes.

    John Smoltz - Yes.

  2. If you mean who will get into the HOF.

    Dye - doubtful

    Wakefield - No

    Ramirez - Yes

    Huff - doubtful

Dunn - too soon to tell

Reyes - too soon to tell

    Pettitte - no

    Jones - maybe

    Smoltz - no - I don't think anyone really appreciates that Smoltz has only 6 -15 win seasons in his career (24, 17, 16, 15, 15, 15)

Doubtful means unless something miraculous happens to their career, it's a no.

No - means they're too old for something miraculous to happen and they aren't getting in.

Too soon to tell - going well at the moment and may if they continue for 14 years

  3. Right now, only Manny, Chipper, and Smoltz are in.

  11. Dye- dont think so, too many injuries

Wakefield-no. the knuckleball was good but he was never better than a 4 or 5 guy in the rotation

Ramirez-yes if he keeps hitting like he is and gets to 600 which he can do

Huff-doubt it but its kind of early to tell

Dunn-maybe but those strikeouts and poor BA hurt

Reyes-probably not, great shortstop but not one of the greatest shortstops

Pettite-allegations of HGH use will hurt him because he does have potential HOF numbers

Jones-i say yes because of his career and transistion and success at two positions

Smoltz-yes, pitcher standards have fallen and who else has won and saved as many games as he has??

  12. I assume you're asking if they will make the Hall of Fame.

I don't like to speculate on players early in their career or even in mid-career. I'm answering based upon if they retired today.

    Jermaine Dye - No

    Tim Wakefield - No

    Manny Rameriez - Yes

    Aubrey Huff - No

    Adam Dunn - No

    Jose Reyes - No

    Andy Pettite - No

    Chipper Jones - Yes

    John Smoltz - Yes

Of those on the list who I said "no" about, only Reyes has the potential career in front of him that could land him in the Hall.
