  1. Seems you haven't done much homework on this.  If you check the Australian Quarantine website you'll find all the information you need, including requirements for importation of animals from your country of origin, how to book them in to one of the quarantine stations, and fees.  You're also required to pay an application fee of AUD$280 as well as quarantine fees.

The following link is a good starting point, just select your country, click GO and follow the instructions.  Fees are included in the PDF attachment.

AQIS - Bringing in Cats and Dogs: http://www.daff.gov.au/aqis/cat-dogs

  2. Fees for Government quarantine service for Cats & Dogs:

Quarantine entry, Inspection & Documents: $108

Transport to quarantine station: $95 or $120

    Daily rate for the first cat - includes food and care - $13.55  (30 days = $406.50 + $108 + $120 = $624.50)

    Daily rate for the first dog – includes food and care - $17.55  (30 days = $526.50 + $108 + $120 = $754.50)

(These prices were current at Feb 2008, and there may be other incidental costs vaccinations etc)
