Couch painting?

i bought a used couch that is green but bery comfortable, i want to change the color to off white, i used fabric spray but each can spray was 5 dollars, does anyone know what kind of paint i can use that's not very expensive, i would realy appriciate it. Thank you

Use slipcovers!  Paint would eventually crack and show other signs of wear.  Off-white slipcovers would look great, and should be easy to find (try online catalogs like Pottery Barn).
