Could I do Motocross?

Question

I'm a 15 petite girl with a passion for Motocross. I've been watching it since I was a little girl. I love everything about it. Every part of it. There's just one thing missing. Me riding. I really want to ride so bad. I think I'm old enough now to hold the responsibility. Do you think this is an extreme measure? I'm willing to pay for every bit of it. I could get a job or something. How much do you guys think we're talking about here though?

Yeah im 3 yrs younger and i race but you need alot more expierience to race.

yamaha yz85 they are the fastest 85s ever. they run like 75mph stock and have the best suspensioon ever i race one and i kill the other guys. im 13. get one!

Of course you could do motocross, I watched a 70 year old man race his first race a couple years back it wasnt fast, but the important thing is that he got out on the track and gave it a try.  The best way to gain experience is to just get out on the track and ride, its the best way to get used to having other bikes around you, just remember to not ride beyond your ability.  It can become an expensive hobby, but its worth every penny.

start out with a cr125 then go out every weekend and you&#039;ll get better and better and then move to a cr250 in a couple years . but remember you need to know your limits.

Well, you&#039;re between the 125 2 stroke/250 4 stroke class and the 85 2 stroke class, I believe they start at 15 in the 125&#039;s, not sure though. You can pick up a used 85/125 for 1500 on up. Cost wise? Motocross is an expensive sport, you&#039;ll need all of the gear (including helmet) we&#039;re talking close to 1000 dollars for top quality gear and helmet, not to mention bike parts (tires wear out fairly quickly in motocross) as for a race track, go to your local dealer, or look on the net for the nearest track...and go fom there. P.S. I would buy NEW gear, not used, especially a helmet. ....EDIT: look on ebay, you can find good deals on some bikes, and IF you have to buy used gear (not helmet though) look at some boots, pants, jersey, chest protector, gloves. You can do anything you set your mind to.

You may have to convince your pops to buy you a bike though.
