i just took a urine test for pregnancy at planned parenthood this afternoon, the test results came back negative.. my question is, how good are their tests and could i still be pregnant?

(i had s*x 3 weeks ago, im pretty sure i was spotting 1 week ago, i've been feeling really bloated... & my period was a week before we had s*x... so i should be starting soon, but haven't yet)

& has anyone ever got a false neg at a planned parenthood?

& how many false negs did you have before a positive?

your advice really helps, thank you! :)

p.s... i want to be pregnant, wish me luck :)

  1. they are definitely very accurate there

  2. There is a good chance you might be. Try another test in a week or two. If it turns out you care congratulations. :]

  3. basically the tests are very accurate there still may be a very slim chance that you are. advice on getting pregnant the woman should always be on the bottom and you could lift your legs while he's going at it. you might also want to get in a bit of foreplay or oral to insure the act of ejaculation.

    best of luck !

  4. maybe it was too early too tell,

    do you have symptoms?

just because you had s*x three times doesnt mean anything.

some ppl can't get pregnant so easily.

other than that wait a little but longer. maybe a week or so.

  5. At 3 weeks after intercourse, the test should be accurate. Sometimes tests do give a false negative. If you are still wondering wait another week and take another test. At 4 weeks there is little to no chance the test will be inaccurate.

  6. There tests are pretty accurate but it is only a 15% chance of getting pregnant each month, and you didnt have s*x during ovulation. So wait a week or two and go take another test. Or see a doctor, they can get the hcg levels in your blood if you would like to.
