  1. 1/a = 1/b+c     --------  multiply a over

    1=a(1/b+c)      ------ divide 1 by (1/b+c)

    1/(1/b+c) = a

  2. 1/a = (1/b) + c

    a = 1 / [ (1/b) + c]

    1/a = 1/(b+c)

    a = b+c
