You can catch crabs anywhere there is hair on your body.

For example:

if you scratch ur pubic hair and then scratch ur armpit hair, craps could go to the hair.

You can get a fungal infection there. If you have redness and rash, it could be because of the rubbing of the skin and because that area doesn't get too much air. Try bacitracin zinc. My son used to get that now and then and bacitracin helped right away. Even diaper rash ointment (desitin original.... not the creamy one... the creamy one is good for prevention and smells good.... the original one is stinky but effective- use during the night and take a shower the next day.... apply desitin creamy to prevent it from getting red and burning again during the day... repeat with desitin original the following night if necessary- normally it isn't necessary) works right away!!!
