does anybody know of good thigs to do in and around Coverack, or good beaches?

It depends on what you call a good thing to do...

Is camel riding a yes or an absolute no-no?

I admit the Poldark mine would be more my taste.

Is a theme park (such as Flambards, URL1) a great day out, or just a tourist trap?

You'd have to tell me about "Futureworld" at Goonhilly, it's new, but the dishes alone are spectacular.(URL3)

The bigger beaches, better for surfing, are on the west side of the Lizard peninsula, especially Praa sands. (URL4)

But you're well placed for beautiful scenery and walks, from Helford passage in the east, the Lizard, and up to Porthleven in the west.
