Crabbing in San Francisco Municipal Pier?

I know it's not crab season, but has anyone ever gone crabbing during this time at the SF Municipal Pier? If so, any luck?

You must check your local regulations.Always be legal.Check with your local sports shop, or bait shop.They should have a copy of the fish regulations,or try the California Government web site. look under the state fishing rules and regulations.
